History and Mission
The Pullough Residents Development Association emerged from a period of significant economic decline in the village of Pullough, County Offaly. Facing the closure of essential services like the local shop and post office, residents mobilized to reverse the trend. The association’s primary mission is to act as an umbrella organization for local voluntary groups, fostering community resilience and creating a “lively, resilient community” through collaborative action. It currently supports thirteen distinct local interest groups, ranging from a preschool to a men’s shed.
